Find and open your case in the app
Choose the case state and search option
Check that the selected state matches your matter. Open Add Case and use an available option such as Case Number, CNR Number, By Name or Lawyer Name. Fill in the district and year where the selected search requests them.
Match the matter before importing it
Run the search using Find Case(s) For Me, or Find Case For Me on the detailed form. Compare the court, parties and complete case reference in the results. Select the correct matter and choose Import Case.
Unlock tracking if needed and review the record
Follow the subscription or case-credit action shown for a locked case. Once unlocked, open its case details and timeline. Read the status together with the available hearing history and relevant order.
Which case update do you need?
- Current status: review the status shown for the matter, including whether it is pending or disposed where available.
- Hearing date: check the next hearing information and recent hearing history in the case.
- Proceedings and applications: follow the available entries in the timeline and case details.
- Orders and judgments: open the available document to read its wording, rather than relying only on an alert.
A saved case can still be locked
Importing records the case in your account. Detailed access and tracking depend on the eligible plan or case credit applied to it. If a case remains locked, check your selected cases and payment status in the app.
When you pay for specific cases, they can unlock after verification. If your account has unused eligible credit, a reveal action may be shown instead. Contact Support if a verified payment has not activated the case you selected.
Keep up with case updates
Use Updates to review alerts and open its settings to select supported notification categories. Phone notification permissions also matter. Available alerts can relate to hearings, case history, orders, judgments, applications and disposal.
The time shown for a hearing and the time a notification arrives answer different questions. Changes depend on available court information and processing, so refresh your understanding by reading the latest case record in CourtClick.
If you cannot find the case
Recheck the selected state, district, case reference and name spelling. Use another search method shown in the app if you have a different identifier. On the detailed case-number form, include at least a petitioner or respondent name as well as the required case fields.
If the search is still unsuccessful, use CourtClick Support with the full court name and case reference so the team can help investigate.
Frequently asked questions
How do I check case updates for a case I already added?
Open the matter from your cases in CourtClick and review its timeline and available details. If the matter is locked, complete the eligible tracking activation shown in the app.
Can I find a case without knowing the number?
Where your selected state supports it, CourtClick offers By Name and Lawyer Name searches. Enter the requested details, then compare the court and parties before importing a result.
Does a notification contain the complete court order?
A notification highlights an update. Open the case and available order in CourtClick to read the document; an alert alone may not contain all of its details.
